Me and TB her DOB 3/29/76 my DOB 12/19/75 have been friends for close to 15 years. I was told that she has said really negative things about me behind my back, then there was a period where we didn’t talk for a period of time. I’m at an age where I just don’t want people in my life who are not true. I want real relationships and real friendships. Does this woman consider me to be her friend? Is it true she talks negative about me behind my back?

It’s important that you do what’s right for you, but I’m not completely confident that all of this ‘talking behind your back’ was meant to be malicious. I feel that once she ‘gets going’ she just blurts things out without thinking about what is being said. While this is far from an ideal approach and can be hurtful, I would encourage you to have an open discussion with her on even ground. It is up to you because I do believe in cutting away anything that brings us down, but fifteen years of friendship is a long time!
