my ex..his routine is he contacts for a few days then nothing for weeks then contacts again, he is living in another country for work purposes, why is he in contact at all? when in last conversation he said he was never coming back here to live? what is it that he wants from me? he asks if im seeing someone new i told him yes but still very new, his only comment was “dont give him your heart that is mine” so totally confused is he wanting a future with me or playing with me? his dob is 26/11/62 new guy 4/10/64 mine 30/7/64. so i guess what i need to know is will he ever come home and reunite with me or do i give the new a chance and see where we end up?

i understand that he is tied up with his new job over seas, but if he is thinking of never coming back why is he not cutting all contact and letting me move on? is he still in love with me or is he jealous of the new man, or is he just feeling home sick is that why he contacts? do we have any hope of any kind of relationship in our future? if he told me he loves me id wait forever and he knows that.
