my doctor wont extend my leave, even though the specialist has be up for an MRI on Jan.4. Still have the worse pain ever. I don’t know what to do. Her option was if it gets bad then just go to the ER.. but I can’t once i start back at work I have no sick time…. So, the option is to drop my job, until I get better…. great. I just don’t know what to do any I have no one I can talk to

Speak to your employer and arrange something with them cut back to part time, take pain killers in the interim if you have to there are options available to you but you have to talk to your employer there might be special leave available for things like this but speak to your employer and as you said isn’t better to go to the a&e if you have to leave early from work at least you will still get paid for some of your time but you need to talk to your employer and arrange things ahead of time before you return so that they know what is going on and if your employer is a good employer they will work with you not against you.

nope no pain pills at all, she just gave me paper stating that I can go back to work and that was it….. So I am just going to see how things go… and if nothing really changes then Sunday or sooner I will go to the ER….

Get nurofen which is a good over the counter pain killer or ib profen which is also another over the counter pain killer any of these you can get over the counter at a pharmacy but go back to your doctor and ask her to prescribe something for the pain pretty simple I get the odd headache and these are the only 2 that I actually take avoid anything with caffine in it but as stated you need to ask for the stuff not just expect it to be prescribed.
