Hi very subjective question as this would depend on what you “feel” and what the cards say to you. 1 card can mean 1 thing to 1 person, and another to someone else.

unless you go for text book interpretations , which personally I would never advise.

As a reader who has worked with the cards I would not advise – to shuffle again and personally would start this afresh if i was doing the reading.

Also keep in mind the scarier cards in the tarot rare if ever mean what the image or name implies.

Best of luck

Hello Kajsa,

I rarely use Tarot layouts when doing my readings. Mostly, I will ask a specific question, receive the message of the card, and then I’m onto the next question.

However, when I do use a predefined layout such as the Celtic Cross, I focus intently on the position of the card and its meaning prior to pulling from the deck. Once I have every card drawn, I will then turn them over and reveal their messages.

I never read reversals but it’s my own rule of conduct. Both positive and negative messages can be understood from a single card. I use my psychic abilities to interpret the messages of the cards, truly relying on my clairvoyance to study the meaning behind each one per each situation in question.

If I was to pull multiple Major Arcana cards after having purchased a new deck, yes, I believe I would reshuffle. Unless of course those cards felt right to me. If you’re questioning them, though, they probably haven’t been shuffled enough quite yet to pick up on your energy.

I shuffle my cards in different ways aside from the normal split in half. I tune into their energy just as I do with crystals, incense, and anything else I use for my readings.

If you’re starting off with a new deck, I recommend reading all the definitions as you ask the questions to learn about their basic meanings. From there, however, you’ll need to tap into your intuition. Just look at the cards and ask yourself what’s going on in them, what the attitude feels like, and what other insights are radiating from them.

And if you are still at a loss, stop by and I will either help you interpret your cards or pull some of my own based on the questions we come up with together.
