How long does it take for karma to take its course?

Karma ends when all lessons are learned and the spirit reaches the “higher spirit” level. When karma ends, the cycle of reincarnations ends, and one becomes an immortal (described by various cultures in various ways, some imagine a “paradise”, some imagine a return to absolute or zero, or other doctrines). What I know about it is that you become an immortal possessing all powers (siddhis) and being able to take any form at will. In popular, contemporary terms, that would be similar to becoming a “superhero”.

And it is likely it takes millions of years and many lifetimes to reach the higher spiritual form.
