I lost my son in November to SIDS I’m wondering if he left on purpose and what his reason for coming such a short time was. I’m not sure if it’s because me and his father have a really rocky relationship. And to make a long story short the hospital was able to revive his heart but he was without oxygen for 45 minutes he had no brain activity and no reflexes at all when I looked into his eyes the day after we were in the hospital and he was on full life-support it was obvious that his soul was gone. I think he did give me a sign he was ready to go in sick of being messed with the day that we scheduled to do it the heart monitor was messing up over and over in his heart rate kept going down and no matter what the nurses did with his neck or how they moved him it just kept messing up people think I’m crazy but to me that was his signed saying it’s okay you can let me go now that was the hardest thing I ever did was to take him off life support and I wonder if that’s what he would have even wanted but there would have been no quality of life. And immediately when the respiratory tract I told her to turn off the breathing machine his heart did beat for 15 minutes but I can’t explain the feeling of peace that was in that room finally and I was holding him rocking him and he looked so peaceful and I knew I made the right choice or I think I did
