Just found out a work colleague is lying about me to other Co workers. and trying to have me sacked from a job I love. he is destroying my reputation and it’s all lies. will he stop? will I keep my job? he is determined that I will be “gone soon” will the company owners believe his lies and sack me? I am the only female in our branch of the company in what I know is a male dominated company. I have worked in for 3yrs without ever having a bad word said about me until this guy came along 12mths ago ( he tried to have me sacked then but I survived and now he is at it again). alienating me from Co works lying to bosses causing me to be constantly upset and doubting myself. and worse doubting who I can and can’t speak with. the bosses are unapproachable I have contacted the union (will get a return call from union Monday morning) the lies this man is saying about me if believed will effect my career in my chosen field and if boss believes him I will never work in this industry again. the lies relate to rudeness. unprofessionalism. bad team member.the person who had told me about the comments made said he was told ” she will go I will make sure she is nothing she is a woman and I want only men working at this branch so she will go!) I’m devastated and have been crying all weekend. this man is sweet as pie to my face but behind my back is his true colours. this had been going on 12 mths.. I actually thought I could now work with him without this crap. Saturday I was told he is meeting with the boss Wednesday to get rid of me. I’m shattered! if I loose my job how do I support my family? 1 income! please advise of the out come if your able.

Wow, this man is like a tornado trying to mess up your life! It is absolutely horrible what he is doing to you right now.

I would be happy to look into your situation and help you find the best ways to navigate this obstacle course he has set in your path, as well as possible ways to call him out on these antics.

Please, try to keep positive during this time and remember that people who readily believe lies would turn their backs on you, regardless, so it may be time for that Union to come in handy and go over THEIR heads, as well, so that you can be treated fairly. It is a shame chauvinism is still found in the workplace!
