How do you know what kind of reading is right for you?

It may depend on your question and the answers you are seeking. For example if you want a more general reading, I would suggest tarot. However if you want specific details, an empath or clairvoyant would be more beneficial to you.

1. First, you must pick the right reader.

You want to make sure there is a good connection. This applies in both the personality type of the reader and in the energy read as well.

If you do not like the reader, or if there is something about you the reader does not like, there will be resistance, and the information will not flow as freely as it needs.

2. Second, you want a reader who is intuitive in addition to pulling cards. Sometimes the system of the cards can change the interpretation, and a reader who is intuitive, will feel the imbalance immediately and can correct it, by pulling again.

3. Go in knowing the majority of the direction you want the reading to go.

The tools are always helpful in determining the end results, but ultimately you want someone who will feel for you and your situation, without letting the situation blind their own sight. [yes that can happen]

Hi Helen, SpiritualJade nailed it. As he/she mentioned, we are people too, so approach us in the manner in which you would like to be approached. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about a readers style if you don’t see it answered in their profile. As long as one isn’t wasting time or looking for a free reading, I find most quality readers would be happy to spend a minute or two explaining their service to an be sure their client is getting the reading they truly want. It does truly depend on your goal in the reading. Go in knowing what you want answered and be clear with your question(s). Some people just want a general “what’s around the bend” reading.
