*Happy Mabon to all the Witches of the Northern Hemisphere* Mabon Readings Available

Happy Mabon! Well it’s nearing that time. On September 22nd we celebrate Mabon, so here a bit early to wish a Happy and Healthy Mabon to all the Witches and Pagans out there! Mabon is a celebration of the Equinox, the midpoint between the Summer and Winter Solstice.

The Equinox is a period where the day and night are at exactly equal lengths — which is exceptionally fitting with the Sun entering into Libra on the same day, a sign of balance and harmony. It is a day of celestial balance of light and dark.

The Harvest Mabon marks the second harvest in the Pagan calendar and is a celebration of the bounty that has been manifested over the course of the summer. Of course, the modern Pagan calendar originates with Welsh agricultural societies that celebrated the harvest of produce essential to survive the long winter. Even now, the harvest is still relevant in new ways. It is a time to think upon what you have manifested over the last months, and reflect on what you are carrying with you into the months ahead.

The Path of Witchcraft Witchcraft and Paganism have long been considered evil paths, but nothing could be further from the truth. As Witches we honor the seasons, the Equinoxes, full moons, and new moons. As Witches we honor the spirits of nature and work with the energies of the earth. There’s nothing evil about our path. It is a way of working with the universe and the energies around us to create change and impact the world around us.

A Mabon Practice Take time on Mabon to honor the season. Light a candle, reflect, and write down the positive changes that have occurred for you over the course of the year. Blessed Mabon.

In a Mabon Reading, we will explore….

“What lessons have matured within you, and which are ready to be released as the season turns?”

“What seeds of intention do you want to carry forward into the darker months ahead?”

“In what ways can you honor the balance of light and dark in your life this equinox?”
