After working with many clients over the years, I do sometimes hear the question, “Do you see marriage for us?”

I would like to volunteer the idea to look at what it might be like to marry the person….rather than IF you will get married.

Understanding what the dynamic might be like with your person of interest can help you understand what might be some pitfalls to watch out for. It can also help you to understand what maybe you yourself can do better, as a significant other. Or what kind of compromises might be needed….

The same goes for even considering a relationship.

So consider asking HOW would the potential relationship dynamics be…rather than asking “When will we be in a relationship?”
