I hope everyone is doing well this week. I know that for many of you, this is a challenging time economically. I want you to understand that we as a people will get through this.

I come from a working class city. Detroit Michigan to be exact. In order to afford college at New York University, I applied for every scholarship I could find. I knew there was no money for college. My late mother told me that at 14 years old before I started high school.

Through the grace of God, the power of manifestation, and people being God’s hands and feet, I received scholarships and grants from NYU. The remaining balance was covered by the private scholarships and of course, student loans. I graduated at the top of my class and began touring as an artist & performer. It was a struggle and a slog, but I won awards, received positive reviews, and slowly started building a career.

Long before I became known more publicly, I was reading professionally for others. Psychic and medium abilities run in my family. I always channeled my gifts into music and performance. The year I was going to perform in my next European Tour, spirit told me I would be reading for others instead. They said it was time. Everything I learned about survival, intuition, discernment, and energy vampirism was going to be used to read for others and help them develop their intuition.

Why am I telling you all this? Tough times don’t last. Tough people do. In your lifetime, you will probably have multiple careers & roles. You will be a parent, a leader, and a teacher. You will be a student, an artist, and 9-5er. You will be a grandparent, a friend, and a world traveler. You will probably experience one or all of these things because we are multi-faceted beings.

If your income level is currently shifting downward, you are not a failure, and this is not necessarily happening because you made bad choices. It is the times we are living in. Part of survival is learning to adapt. I have been self employed/business owner all my adult life. Whether it was in the arts or in the spiritual field. I learned how to live on less and celebrate when I had more.

Spirit showed me that whether I had more money than the average person, or whether I had less, it didn’t change who I was at my core. It didn’t make me better or worse than the next person. Please don’t let the times we are in make you feel like you are not good enough. I feel like I am speaking to some people who are currently going through that.
