money got disappeared

Hi every one , i was wondering if any one can help me, i have been moved back to my parents house for past 6 month due to going back to school , its a 5 bedroom house , and there is just me and my parents living there , my mom had $3000 hidden in a purse in her walking closet , she had it there for 2 years until last night she figured out it has been stolen , money was divided in two small envelopes and placed in a purse hidden in the closet , there was lots of golds and small bills as well ,but just the $100 bills and $50 bills gone , gold has nt been touched , the person who did it crumble the money envelope like he/she was angry and put it bach inside the purse ,envelope has been opened like some one chewed them and opened it aggressively , if it was a stranger who did that would take the golds too , only ppl who have been in our house was my brother and his wife , my sister and her husband , me and my girlfriend (she some times stay here for two or three days) ,and my parents , i was wondering if any one can give us some clue in this regard. We are so confused about it.
