I was told my ex came into my place of work and bought a lot of booze (he used to be an alcoholic) and asked where i was. Last night i received a bunch of angry texts from him saying he paid me back for cheating on him…I DID NOT cheat on him..he is angry because ive been texting a coworker which also happens to be his friend. Things are so bad between my ex and me. Are we over for good this time?

Oh Yes,you and he are over. He didnt USED to be an alcoholic,either,he still is. He did hook up with someone you know,though,and thats what he is crowing about in his comment.

I totally agreed with Robin as a counsellor there is not such thing as a re-covered alcoholic but only a re-covering one all the days of the rest of their lives.

It appears your ex has a lack of committment to both relationships and staying sober.
