Hi…I have been involved with a man named Jim. I lived with him in England and have just returned to the US. We are best friends but I have strong feelings for me and he says he doesn’t feel the same about me. We seem to have so much going with us but he’s not interested in me. It hurts me, but do I need to give up on hoping things could ever grow into more?

Hi Michelle. I frrl that yes, you should give up, especially if he has already told you he is not interested. Not to say you can’t be friends, but your love and attention would be better spent on another man who will appreciate it and return it to you.
