Standing in the Gap: Being a Leader Leadership is standing in the gap and standing up for what your passionate about! Understanding that you are an advocate: for the child that is abused the woman that is abused the man that is homeless and hungry the untouchables that no one wants to meet and talk with like: the mentally ill the convict the gangster the diseased the different whether they be gay, straight, bi-sexual, another religion, faith, race, nationality! It is bringing healing to the less fortunate unconditional love with no limits, boundaries, and aceppting them right where they are in their journey’s in life. Leadership is stepping outside of the box, and knowing God is a bigger God than most try to put him in. Understanding that a leader has to be right where they are at to understand them and to listen to them. Leadership is being an earth angel every where you walk, even if people tell you not to help someone, or stop and listen. Leadership is teaching others that no matter where they are, or how bad their life is, no matter what mistakes they have made God will always lead them out of the darkness and into the light. Leadership is teaching others that judgement is God’s alone! Not ours! Leadership is understanding that what we say and do in peoples lives through actions and words affects them, changes them in a positive or negative impact. Leadership is understanding we can’t change anyone, save anyone, we can only be the example by changing ourselves and making this world a better place. We are the messengers to the world to give them hope, love, and faith! Love the key to many hearts all over the world, what a wonderful thing it is to learn to love one another without prejudice, discrimination, judgement, without telling someone else how they should be. Leadership is understanding that God has created us all perfectly in his sight and image. Leadership is living life with peace, harmony, love, and being in unity with your brothers and sisters in the world no matter who they may be. |
