Hi all,

I have had online psychic readings before here at Bitwine, some advisors ask for d.o.b. and some say they don’t need it – why is that?

How do I know what type of reading will work for me best – psychic reading, tarot reading, crystals, etc?

Hi Ellie, It all depends on the psychic and how they are able to connect with your energy. Some don’t need a DOB and others do and still others need your name and DOB…others may as for your location as in state or country.

As for your second question…all of these are just tools that psychics use. You have to have psychic ability to interpret what is being said and what it means to the person you are reading for. So it really does not matter which tool they use what matters is how connected they are to you.

D.O.B gives the reader your star sign and basic characteristics, shouldn’t be necessary for any clairvoyant but those using astrology need the information.

A person who reads tarot really well will be a benefit whether they are highly intuitive or not and is a good choice for any type of reading, if the reader has great intuitive skills then the cards will mainly be directive. you couldn’t go wrong there.

Scrying is the use of crystals to gain focus for example a crystal ball or scrying stone. some use runes these are similar in directive intuition to the tarot. someone with a great understanding of their tools will always be a good choice.

I personally can read tarot and do so on request, but don’t need them so only read them when asked. As an energy reading specialist, i can see the colours around you and how they interact into your future with external influences and how you are performing health wise. clairvoyance is the ability to see.

in essence psychic, tarot and clairvoyant are doing the same thing for you so it comes down to a matter of skill and ability rather than method.

if you want an in depth look into your future be prepared to give the clairvoyant some time to be able to gain the information, the more time given the more information received.

if you have just one question then the energy around your question is what is read as a rule without reference to other areas of influence.

the best readings and information come when you are specific about your needs, especially for a quick reading. being specific is not about giving over too much information.

To do a reading you really don’t need a D. O. B. It depends on what you prefer. You can have a number of great readings according to what style you like. personally, i only ask for the dob to verify that person is over 18. i wont read for minors. Although yes it is a tool for some. Just thought i would throw that in…..just because you may be asked for your birth date doesnt mean that it is being used in your reading.

I think you need to be comfortable with your chosen psychic first- make sure you feel like they connect with your situation and most importantly trust how they read.
