Seems every person I meet is like this. Just wondering how do you end a connection with someone if your fully connected to them.

All of us have karmic relationships. They can be for 5 minutes, many months, or years. Whatever your soul desires to learn from the experience presents itself. And it just is simple. How long do you feel the need to hang on to an individual? What are you gaining from the experience? What kind of boundaries are you setting? Your emotional attachment to the person plays a part. If you are focusing on them all the time and obsessing, worrying, dwelling on matters. Do you keep the materialistic things like letters, photographs, gifts? If you have emotional attachments to them, it might take you longer to let go. And also if you have them in any of your devices, social media, and not standing your ground in the physical and setting personal boundaries. Mean what you say. Words don’t mean anything, if your actions don’t follow.

Karmic relationships are meant to teach us lessons (usually from past lives) and heal pain. It sounds like by you realizing that he does not know what he wants and you don’t have the time for it, that you are realizing your self worth (a potential lesson). Remember, it goes both ways. He needs to learn a lesson too—this is why sometimes people sort of “hang on” in our lives when we just want them to go away. I don’t know what your relationship with him is, but I agree with Heavenly Sunshine—get rid of letters, photos, gifts, etc that he gave you. It sounds like you are heading in the right direction. :)
