My friend and I have known each other for 13 years.. I’m best friends with one of his sisters and I’m close to the rest of his family.. About 4 years when he was getting a divorce he wanted to hang out but I was friends with his wife at the time and didn’t feel it was right.. He got reacquainted with a girl from high school.. They are currently still together and also live together.. He’s told me and his sister he’s not happy and wants to find his own place.. A little over a year ago we cheated together for 3 months.. I fell in love with him and he felt guilty.. We still keep in touch and check in with each other.. He still mentions us being together again sometimes.. But he also runs hot and cold with me.. We could talk everyday for a week then not at all for 2 weeks… What’s going on? And what should I do?? Is there a possible future for us? or do I need to let go?
